The Omega2S modules are moving to tape and reel packaging as of August 3rd, 2020!
Each reel will hold 500 units of either the Omega2S or Omega2S+ in 44mm wide tape. The new packaging will provide better ESD and moisture protection as well as make manufacturing with the Omega2S modules easier.

How do I get my hands on this?
From our Distributors
Our distributors Mouser and Digikey will offer full 500-unit reels and smaller quantities in cut tape.
Direct from Onion
Onion will only sell full 500-unit reels. This means the minimum order quantity is now 500 units, and orders must be multiples of 500.

What about the existing tray packaging?
The transition to reel packaging will start next month (August 2020). During the transition, both Onion and our distributors will still offer the tray packaging.
When the transition is complete, tape and reel will be the only packaging option. We expect the transition to take 2 to 3 months.
