Favorite Project

Our favorite project this week is an Omega2-powered, remote-controlled IoT WiFi Lamp made by Mike Anthony. Mike uses the Omega2 and Relay Expansion to control a heavy-duty relay that in turn controls a lamp! This allows him to control his lamp super easily through the Omega’s Console.

The video tutorial shows step-by-step instructions you can follow to create your very own WiFi-controlled lamp or appliance. Awesome work, Mike, what a great example of controlling the Relay Expansion from the Onion Console! There’s a huge potential here for home automation!
